hangout festival - are the searches bad entering it?

i honestly just bought a single day tix on saturday for friday night... I really want to see KOL (yes, i said KOL) on the beach!
Not familiar with
BC or KL - I would go with KL since I have never seen him play but would also be cool to BC since people on this board say they are rocking as of late

when i went two years ago... i remember on friday that it was so swamped and you basically just walked through. I didnt have a bag or anything.
But i do remember something about taking everything out of my pockets on sunday b\c i was slightly nervous as hell

Last year, cops were picking random people to pat down. My buddy got picked all three days, I guess he looks kind of thuggish or something? But luckily the cops chose wrong every time. Can't wait to get back on the beach.
