Trade Eric Gordon to the Suns for their 1st round pick, 2nd round pick, and cash.

Draft Ben McLemore and Trey Burke with first round picks.

Take Rotnei Clarke with 2nd round pick (only because he can shoot and I like him, obviously not necessary)

Sign Josh Smith to a max deal. Trade Lopez and picks from next year to Kings for Cousins. If that doesn't work, sign Bynum.

PG: Burke/Vasquez
SG: McLemore/Rivers
SF: Josh Smith
PF: A Davis/Anderson
C: Demarcus Cousins or Bynum

Profit.

You are wrong. As a second or third option the guy is unbelievable. And he can guard anyone

I don't want anything to do with an all rookie backcourt. Also Josh Smith best position is power forward.

Why? Are we contending next year or something? Our franchise player won't hit his peak for another 3 years or more. A rookie backcourt means our players have years to gel and become more together. I don't wanna lose, but I also don't wanna be a perennial 5 seed. Patience will yield more fruit than trying to double down now and wreck our soil.

Get real. The Suns weren't willing to offer us much of anything in a S&T when he was rumored to be inclined to sign the offer sheet. Why would they offer us anything now after its a bit apparent that we saved them from a mistake? Gordon's value is low right now...to low for a Top 5 Lotto pick.

The Suns pick would have to be at #1 or #2, because its likely McLemore is going in the top 2. Suns are currently slotted at 4. So...

frick that.

Wouldn't get us close to Cousins, unless they are completely desperate to move on. They are going to want a lot for him, and some other team will offer A LOT more than that garbage.

Christ almighty.

In short: Put down the XBox.

This is not possible. It is against league rules. They couldn't trade him to the Suns until way after the draft and well into the free agency period..

"If a team matches an offer sheet and retains its free agent, then for one year they cannot trade him without his consent, and during that year cannot trade him at all to the team that signed him to the offer sheet."

Alot changes after the draft..

trade Eric gordon and Lopez to Toronto for Rudy gay. Sign Chris Paul in free agency along with another big or a 2 guard. Draft either 2 or a big man whichever one you don't get in free agency.

I don't think it is a winning formula. I think the best mix is a mixture of young guys and vets(unless you have a Durant on your team and I don't see that on the Hornets.) I would take a perennial 5 seed over the crap Ive seen on the court from the Hornets recently. The Hornets lost every single game I went to last season. I don't want to see anymore of that.
