re: Do you WANT LeBron James to be the GOAT?

I don't want him to be. I'll admit it, I'm squarely in the "hater" category.

But at the end of the day I don't really care. NBA is pretty far down my list of sports I follow.

re: Do you WANT LeBron James to be the GOAT?

quote:

I want it. If Lebron was playing when Jordan was playing everyone would be wearing Lebron's. Jordan had the benefit of Pippen, and a team being built around him. Jordan was able to start his career in a beautiful city with a huge media market. Lebron had to make a decision to change teams that put him in that same situation, so what? Pippen finished 2nd place in MVP votes when Michael left to go play baseball. Jordan lovers theres no excuse. Lebron is a bigger stronger version of Jordan combined with Magic. It's time for the guys who grew up with Jordan to just be real about this topic.

LeBron Haters

Don't care one way or the other.

Do I think he will retire as the GOAT?
Probably not, but he has a chance.

I am pretty sure the majority of posters saw MJ play.

A majority who think LeBron is already the GOAT are college aged and younger. They only saw MJ the Wizard.

Yea I'll expect a blow up if Bron either goes off against the bulls or has a bad series.

Do I want him to be the GOAT? Yes
DO I think he will retire as the GOAT? People will debate it, but most will probably still say Jordan.
