Weekend Project. Polaris Ranger Accessories

Some of these Ive done over the past month and Some I finished this weekend. If you have any good ideas, please share.
1.) Roof rack.
I bought a cheap roof rack from auto zone for $40 worked it to fit my ranger. It was made to be strapped to a car roof, But I fit it to a couple 2x6's to give it a stable base as well as a point for me to put screw in eye bolts for strapping things down.
here it is in the planning stage.
and on the roof after painting. I didnt install and screw in eyes yet.
I also bolted the crate in place for small things/odd and ends.
2.) Rear seats.
I bought a couple cheap boat seats and bolted them to a 2x10, which I them mounted to the bed with some all thread. I also added a couple handles to give a grab point for the rider. these were done a few weeks ago and came in handy big time at the camp.
3.) Cheap Tunes
$35 Wal-Mart radio+Velcro=Tunes for riding
4.) Fender Flares
I bought a set of 4 online for $99. I only installed the front two because the back isnt bad. They came with plastic push pins, but theyt were flimsy so I bolted them in place. They are sturdy as hell now and arent going anywhere. they also work great. you can go through plenty slop, then cruise along nice and clean.
5.) Lights
They have been done for a while, but I had them on photobucket so Im posting them
5.) Bottle opener.
The kids/Beer getters are the ones who ride in the rear seats. notice the ice chest, seats, and bottle opener are all in close proximity...not by accident.
I still need to add my eyes for the rack and some turnbuckles for the ice chest(wont have to use a strap anymore) but its coming along. what do I nee next?
the dogs approve and it made for a good spot to watch LSU beat the shite out of Florida.

That LED bar.
I really need to do a night time picture comparison because this thing is ungodly bright. I love it. Ime going to add a 12" LED bar to the bumper because if there is any fog, the big bar is too high and you cant see. the stock headlights suck arse.

Yeah I've been wanting an LED bar like that for soo long.
Just can't convince myself to drop the $$$ for one.
You got a sweet ride.

Is that thing electric or gas?

Make a cover for your mike crate out of a piece of plywood.
Also, your cans on top. Turn them around when in the woods or a branch/vine will catch them. Also see if you can find a cap that fits tight.
A nice brush guard on front would be nice if you run thru thick shite.

Looks sweet. Those chairs on the back don't take up any bed space?

How does the does the radio and LED effect the battery life? Our have you not noticed yet?
Or ranger's battery life is beginning to suck do I don't think we could make very long trips without charging

I have a dog food holder that is waterproof and fits perfectly in a milk crate. I use it in my kayak but im going to get another one to stick in this crate

About 10" but you still have the space under them to fit things. the bed is surprisingly big and you still have plenty of space.
here is a better view of the bed space used and available

the radio in just a portable dock that runs on AA or can plug into the wall. Ill eventually do a nicer stereo but this works for now.
The LED's dont draw very much at all. much less than halogen bulbs. I havent had a problem with them.

I bought an inexpensive dual battery kit and another battery for mine. I didnt want to have to worry about it.

Where'd you get that diamond plate roof from??? I have a poly roof on mine right now and really don't care for it.

I bought the ranger with that roof on it. It has no markings and i don't know who makes it. Ive had a bunch of people ask about it. Its super strong. I've had 3-4 grown men standing on it with no problem.
Thanks nascar

Need a recessed cup holder or two on back seat 2x10. You can get em at a marine supply store.
12 volt CIG lighter wired for access in back seat for spotlighting would be good too.
And front passenger and rear seats need "oh shite" handles on the headache bars for rough rides.
They have some commercial cloth ones but braided paracord ones shohld be good too.
Looks great man. Im super jelly!
