And if it was supposed to be a safety squeeze, it wasn't a good one.

That was just a sacrifice, which doesn't help you much.

With one out, I guess I can see the bunt so no double play. With no outs, he has to swing.

So? This lineup is a good bit above average on paper, so we should be putting up numbers above average. You think Detroit only scores 2 in those situations?

If Peralta, Dirks, and Avila are due up, sure.

Halladay done after 2 1/3. 9 runs on 4 hits for Miami

Hechavarria is 2 for 2 with a grand slam and a three run triple.

8 got his hit, 9 is Tim Hudson, 1 is Simmons who has proven to be clutch, but 1 isn't the spot he needs to play, and we got to Chris Johnson with runners on 1 and 2. I don't care where we are in our lineup I expect more than 2 runs in that situation.

Marlins have three series where they didn't score nine runs.

Do you not get run expectancy? Considering we had a back up OF, Pitcher and the lead off guy hitting .229, due up with the bases loaded, getting 2 there is about what we should have done.

I like Hechavarria, he looks like he could be a good one.

Assuming I'm thinking about the marlins SS?

Did u not get my break down? Numbers do lie. Frick Michael W. Smith.

Besides same thing happened in the extra inning game and we were in a better part of our lineup.
