Any FDers Competing in the Jambalaya Festival Cookoff?

It's in a couple of weeks.

By the way, "FDers" is pronounced "feeders".

I can make a nice pot of jambalaya, but NOT with an open fire

I really wish the festival would have a second competition that was almost completely open. Allow propane, any ingredients, etc. Just think - jambalaya on a stick, sushi jambalaya, sparrow jambalaya, jambalaya balls, jambalaya bread, pastalaya, tomato jambalaya . . .

I'll be competing in it, there are a few other posters that will be also. Some in the big pot and some in the mini-pot.

Agreed.

Also wish they would schedule it in the spring so it wasn't so flippin hot.

I'm not. I'm going to Florida on vacation.

Nice pic of a friend of mine in your OP Rat. I worked with Mike for years.

Rat, after you've been crowned Bawcomville Jambalaya King,,, those little festivals don't mean anything to me anymore.
