Fournette finished his leg in the 4x200m relay, but went down with an apparent hamstring injury and did not contest the 200m.

Brazil went down with a hammy in the 200m and did not finish.

/200m races hate LSU.

On another note, Malachi Dupre won all three jumps in 2A and was named outstanding performer. Speedy Noil was 3rd in 4A long jump.

Hate that fournette and Brazil went down like that. Both are incredible runners.

So I take it that Brazil was not able to run the 100?

Saw Dupre's dominance in the paper today. Also Duke Riley did well in the 2A discus and even competed on their 4x100 relay team

The 100 is prior to the 200. Brazil won in a subpar time for him.

Riley also placed 2nd in the 100m hurdles. A freak of an athlete.

Pedro, you dropped some bombs today. I hollered "Alright, Pedro!!" after the 3200m. I hope you heard.

Keys...I may or may not coach the distance squad at our alma mater. Our boys swept the top two places in the three distance races for the first time in state meet history.

thats good stuff man.

Im still alittle upset about the 1600. I think I couldve placed in that. Just couldnt dig out enough to out kick that kid from crowley. Outside of that I cant really complain. Dang good way to end my high school career.

It looked like Brazil might have tweaked his hamstring in the 100 prior to the 200

So he ran a 10:6+ with a sprained toe? Really wanted to see Fournette run the 100 and 200.
