Dularge trip set for this Tuesday 5/7/13

Not recent but Ihad a killer trip there last May, four of us caught over 125 a day , half of them on top waters. Trout and reds mixed. They hit Spooks and She Dogs in any color as long as it had chartreuse on it.. Not far from where the camps stop on the bayou , just look for cuts in the islands and good water color. It was after a six inch rain that night, turned them on I guess.

Tuesday and Wednesday are gonna be phenomenal days to be out on the water. Good luck

Im going to the camp tomorrow afternoon and do some chores and drink a few cold ones. Will be on the water bright and early Tue morn!

Try the coves along the Eastern shore of Mechant. Look for birds/bait fish. You will kill them.

I will be in a tan 20 ft seaark.

I sure as hell hope not, dont have any of those.

All this north wind likely to muddy it up badly. I think of all the areas to fish this is the shallowest and muddies up quicker than any other. I would think up near lost lake there will be cleaner water. West wind is a killer there also. Good luck
