Browning X-Bolt Medallion vs Remington Model 700 SPS

Does the 700 have a dog in the fight?
Trying to decide which one to keep. X-Bolt is in the 7mm WSM and the 700 is a .308.
I've never shot either one of them. The 700 has been in the gun safe with a Burris mounted to it for about three years and has yet to be shot. I just traded for the x-Bolt and I love the walnut stock. It's got a Sniper 24x50 illuminated b/g/r scope on it. No matter which one I keep is getting the Burris with leopold mounts, sling and bipod. 700 is black synthetic. The usage will be range shooting and maybe a deer/hog. I typically don't like shooting crap from far away, takes the thrill out of it for me, that's why the 700 has sat.

Remington was rightly threatening to leave NY because that State is a liberal frickhole. They were offered, and accepted, a big Government contract. Coincidentally, Remington immediately stopped their threat to leave said liberal frickhole. Hence, frick Remington.

Wow. Most recognizable name out there too.
I doubt they could care less about most everybody thoughts on it bc they are whipping their assholes with $100's I'm sure.
