I'm not agreeing with this criteria. I'm just illustrating why the vote was stupid using this criteria.

And the Rose MVP was stupid and should have gone to bron.

Is there anything else about the point you need to make?

Would anyone even care if there had been more guys who didn't have LeBron at 1?

Can we get the same outrage for the Luke Babbit/Jordan Crawford SMOY voter?

Asking about warp?

I'm trying to find that list for 2012-2013. Latest I've seen is 2009-2010.

If you have that list, link me.

I'd be stunned if Lebron didn't lead that stat either.

Byron Scott is believed to be a strong candidate for the Clip Show job, in part because CP3 likes him.

I'm hoping that they hire him if CP3 stays, if only because I figure he isn't much better than VDN as a coach.

This is exactly why I didn't think Stephen A's ridiculous rumor was that ridiculous. CP3's judgement isn't the clearest because he gravitates towards his BFFs. It's part of why the Pelicans are even in the conversation. I can see him being more comfortable with Byron and broken down Celtics stars coming to the Clippers than fighting James Harden for Alpha of the Rockets. The short list for coaches of the Clippers should start and end with Jerry Sloan.

Sloan's got the talent but I think he's had enough of the bullshite.

Losing a power struggle to Deron Williams tends to do that.

The article I read yesterday was certainly trying to turn "I'm open to listening to the Nets" into "I'm interested in coaching the Nets" but Jerry Sloan said he's open to working with the punk that got him fired in Utah. He even looked into coaching the Bobcats last year and they are a mess of a franchise. I think he's ready to return to coaching.

Definitely true.

The problem is that if you let Paul force a coaching change, you've created a bigger monster than Williams ever was. How many star players become successful GMs anyway? Isaiah?

ETA - The player as a GM argument starts and ends at Larry Bird.

Honestly, I think the Lakers and Clippers could work together and improve both franchises. D'antoni switches to the Clippers, where he has an elite/quick PG (Paul/young Nash), running/athletic as hell big with limited outside shot (Blake/Amare), and several solid wings. It just seems like that roster was made for D'antoni. Then, the Lakers would be free to undo the stupid hire in the first place. They lose their coach and Phil can ride in as the White Knight. Boom.

You can't have a legit source unless you refer to yourself in the 3rd person.

I ate a bunch of shrooms and my cats declared it unequivocally. It doesn't get more legit than that.

That's assumining that the idiot son, Jim, will let sister Jeanie's man ride to the rescue.

He's been trying to put his own name on the franchise's success since Dr. Jerry started taking a backseat a few years ago and the removal of Phil, his assistants such as Brian Shaw, and the Triangle offense were a big part of that.

Did he buy one in LA?

ETA - Anthony Davis lives in a condo. Jarrett Jack lived in the same building. So does Sean Payton. It's not uncommon.

It tells you that by the time he got familiar with the area the housing bubble burst and homes seemed like a bad investment.

Jerry West is at the top of the list of player to gm guys. Ainge aint too bad either.

I dont think Sloan fits. Remember, they passed on Paul in the draft because he doesnt fit Sloan's physical Flex. I dont think Pauls injury history has done anything to change that perception.

How much would you like to bet on that statement? Or do you restrict the meaning of "house" to a free standing structure?
