Ok include Mathieu, we're still one of the lowest.

With the most "high profile".

I agree that doesn't tell the whole story either, but I can expect why people will bang on LSU for it.

I don't think it's fair to included Mathieu when he wasnt even on the team.

We aren't including other teams players that weren't on their respective teams..

More high profile than heisman winner Manziel? Or first round pick Damontre Moore (who got arrested for possession of weed)?

So, you want to look at a stat in a vacuum. Thats fine, now you have a stat. Nothing more.

for the stat to mean something, you have to take it out of the vacuum.

If you want to discuss Miles' "control" or lake thereof, you have to include Mathieu (and for the record, I don't think Miles handles TM bad).

Mathieu was kicked off the team.

What else do you want him to do?

I was speaking in terms of LSU compared to the group not necessarily just A&M. Point being, even though we have only had a few, those few have been real high profile guys for the program.

I think you're the one who's looking at lsu in a vacuum.

quote:

Kirby Ennis (February 1, 2013)
Johnny Manziel (June 29, 2012)
Kyle Mangan (August 7, 2011)
Damontre Moore (June 3, 2011)
Matthew Joeckel (October 17, 2010)

A&m players that were arrested

I don't want him to do anything. I want you to acknowledge that Mathieu's troubles fall on Miles' watch and that being arrested isn't the only sign of lack of control.

WTF does that even mean? Do you want to compare LSU directly to A&M or the list on the first page.

Comparing them directly to A&M helps your point, but different than this thread. The purpose of this thread is to show LSU ranking low against other teams in conference, which is true. BUT, the stature of their players changes perception.

How can you deny that?

It's not but these guys that want to blame Les don't care. Les should have arrested TM7 himself and turned himself in to police for allowing Mathieu to be involved in selling pot.

Very few arrests, two more than Vanderbilt.

Lsu players for the most part, are very well behaved.

What would you say if there were 17 arrests including the coach like Missouri?

When it comes to breaking the law, I dont think that starter or reserve matters as it pertain to monitoring of players. An arrest is an arrest , and it all makes a team look bad.

What else do we have to go by?

That's a pretty good measuring stick

You want to move goal posts though because the facts don't support your stance
