I'm doing a rewatch and just got caught up to the present last night. Damn I forgot how much I love this show and how addicting it is. When Hank is reading the inscription in the book and it shows a flashback to him kinda half jokingly mentioning Walt as WW, and Walt goes 'you got me', then it shows Hank's face again in real time...frick me. What's everyone's take on what's going to happen in the first few episodes when it comes back? The last we've seen of everyone:

-Hank finds Gale's book in Walt's house, with an inscription to Walt.
-Walt goes in with Lydia to start shipping product overseas to the Czech Republic
-Skyler convinces Walt he actually has "too much" money, and Walt now wants out. He then gives a bunch of money to Jesse, who is upset over it.
-Todd is Walt's new lab partner. Everyone connected with Mike, aside from Lydia, who knows their shite was killed in jail to prevent them from talking.

So where do we go from here, specifically with Hank? I don't know, but I would imagine he would want to take the book to the station and fingerprint it to make sure Gale's prints are on the book as well. I mean what else could he do? He can't just come out and ask Walt right? They also celebrated Walt's 51st not too long ago earlier in the season, but as we know in the first scene it's a flashforward to his 52nd birthday. Unless it's just the 52nd birthday of the person who's fake ID he has, I don't know. It seems odd to me that they'd use the last 6ish or whatever episodes to span almost an entire year.

Either way I can't frickin wait til it comes back.

It will definitely be interesting watching Hank have the upper hand for the first time in the series.

Walt's association with Todd and his criminal family is going to be his downfall. They're going to want a bunch more for what they did for Walt. Oh, and too bad Hank had to go take a dump.

Not me.

The only thing I will predict would be television viewing greatness.

well yeah. The only thing that bothers me is I thought I heard rumors of them reshooting the last episode after Cranston's script got stolen. That pisses me off, because you know Vince and company probably had some super awesome finale that they'd planned out for a while, and now basically have to throw it away (if that's what they're doing).

Another thing I didn't mention in my first post on this page is what the hell is gonna happen with Ted? He's been out of the picture for a while but he's still around. And he knows that Skyler somehow had $600,000 to give him. He may not know Walt is doing what he's doing, but I wonder if he could throw a wrench into some plans somehow.

I don't think Todd's family is a big part of it..........

Walt's mistake was going international IMO............went he sent product to the CZech Republic he became a true kingpin.........

Kingpin's have big time enemies..........there is not stopping or quitting at that point.

I think the Czech's are addicted to the blue and when Walt says he is done, they are gonna be pissed and come after him.

Hank may actually make Walt fess up and utilize Walt to take down the bigger players in action.

What makes this show so great is how every character is flawed and connected in some way. There is no way hank can take down Walt or else it will mean taking down skylar as well. Also the drug money paid for his hospital bills. I'm Sooo interested to see where all of this is leading. No clue how it will end which is what makes it epic.

Would be awesome. Walt as an informant.

I were in his shoes and really wanted out of the game, I would propose this to Hank.

DAMMIT!

I did not want to see this thread.

I watched ep 10 of season 4 last night (I think).

I have two more episodes in season 4 and I did not know whether or not there is a season 5 and I didn't want to know. The way things went down in ep 10, it looked like the end of the series might be about to happen in the last two episodes. I was sorta stoked for an epic ending tonight.

Oh well, at least I can watch season 5 later now. I am definitely hooked right now.

And no, have not and will not read a word posted in this thread. Just saw the title and made this post.

I was gonna say that if walt permanently wants out, he could just give everything over to Todd to be THE cook, but that'd still leave Lydia, Todd, the pest crew, and Todd's family knowing who he really is.

And as far as coming after him, maybe that has something to do with the opening scene in S5E1?

Other than Lydia (and that's a strong MAYBE anyway) there aren't any bigger players. Gus is done. Cartel is done. Mike is done. Saul knows shite but he wasn't really a player in the meth game, he's just a crooked lawyer. Walt is Heisenberg, the man who Hank has wanted for over a year and is known to be THE kingpin in meth manufacture/distribution throughout the whole southwest. There's no way Walt talking will get him off scot free. He's still gotta face some extremely serious legal action if he talks, IMO.

I don't really understand the elliot reference either. Elliot/Gretchen have had nothing to do with Walt for a while. Especially after Walt and Gretchen met in the diner and Walt told her to F off. At that point I assumed that's the last of any communication between the two families.

The bills getting paid is going to be the last thing on Hank's mind, if he even thinks about it at all. This is his white whale, it's Heisenberg. If he figures out Skylar's involvement, that could be tricky because you know Marie will want to do anything to keep her sister out of prison. If they hide her involvement and they think it's just walt, I think Hank would still do his job and nail his arse.

Also I wonder if the show has already kind of foreshadowed Walt and hank teaming up with hank using Walt to help with the Gus investigation.
