I don't really mind losing home games, but it sucks that its not in Green Bay

When we start recruiting Green Bay I'll start wanting LSU games there.

I live in Houston and am going to enjoy seeing my Tigers here, but I AM getting tired of shelling out thousands of dollars every year for tradition funds and season tickets only to get an increasing sorry home schedule.

Well as others have said, its either play a neutral site game against a good OOC team or play at home against Northwestern St

How much difference in money is there between doing a home-and-home, or an "event game" in a neutral site? Any ideas at all?

Houston is a shithole... should have been Dallas.

Is there really a difference between Houston/Dallas for the people freaking out calling Houston a shithole?

If Houston and/or Dallas is a shithole, then Baton Rouge is a hemmorhoid on that shithole.

Lots of crying in this thread. I love it. For those upset and crying about the avg family, stop leaving at half time.

Dandy don said this was not finalized and they have spoken to other teams. Don't get to excited yet.

ZERO interest in going to Houston to watch LSU play. I'd rather spend my money in state or experience college culture. Towns like Madison, Baotn Rouge, Oxfor, Tuscaloosa, etc.

We did these neutral site games in the 80's, got away from them and like everything else, are back full circle.

Reliant stadium isn't a shithole. Plus this will help our recruiting in Houston. I'm all for it.

Just the easiest way to schedule big games these days. The marquee match ups mean too much in the course of a season and some schools just don't want to go to a place like Death Valley to play. Neutral sites take that hurdle out of negotiations. Not saying Whisky wouldn't want to come on down to BR but teams in the past have come out and said they didn't want to play in BR. Wish we could get back to playing in home stadiums...it's the whole point.
