get what out? I just stated a bunch of facts....you're the one making up threads hating on houston bc you're butthurt your precious #1 seed is getting worked over by an 8 seed while your superstar is crying over and over abt only getting damn near 20 free throws and your coach is deploying hack-a-scrub AT HOME vs a inferior team.....

So you are saying that there is in fact a slight cheapness if you will to those championships?

Cheapness, as determined by entities like ESPN? Yes.

Vernon Maxwell

Always seemed to give Jordan a tough time.

So Maxwell would be the deciding force that would prevent Jordan from beating the Rockets? Don't know that I buy that.

It's really a shame that Jordan retired when he did. Those would have been some epic series.

Oh The Dream would have gone off, no doubt about it. Just don't know that he's able to do enough to beat Jordan.

You really couldnt follow that? No surprise, but I'll break it down for you.

Your argument is MJ not playing tarnishes Rockets two titles (your butthurt is showing btw). How is that not different from Drose not playing tarnishing the heats? The bulls were the #1 seed going into the playoffs, were they not?

Because he was the only one on that team.

nd Jordan arrived to the Bulls on March 18, 1995. To consider him at his normal playing level that year is just silly

Points Per Game: 31.5
Rebounds Per Game: 6.5
Assists Per Game: 4.5
FG%: 48.4%
FT%: 81.0%
3Pt%: 36.7%

Those are Jordan's playoff numbers that year. Yep...he definitely wasn't himself.

The fact that you are bringing Rose into this argument to try to implicate it as even remotely similar is asinine. Come on now.

The rockets were a bad matchup for chicago

maxwell and elie were bulldog defenders and maxwell always gave jordan fits as another poster mentioned in 1994

in 1995 we had drexler, jordan is amazing but drexler was a hall of famer so stfu

alot of people forget in 1994 otis thorpe was a bad bad man, he was a better version of horace grant

2 superior wing defenders would be on jordan and pippen and the bulls would have no answer for dream....none whatsoever

rockets sweep....we're being hypothetical and i like pissing you off

From the Chicago Tribune in 1993:

quote:

After all, the Bulls have lost six out of their last eight games against Houston and the last five at the Summit. And just in case anyone needs reminding, those losses were with Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen. So what would cause the Bulls' coach to be optimistic in light of not only those numbers, but also the fact that the 9-0 Rockets are the NBA's hottest team and the Bulls are struggling? The "one-upmanship" said Jackson, hurt the Bulls. "Michael (Jordan) usually got into it," he said, "and it was usually a Michael-(Hakeem) Olajuwon thing. (They came out in) the same draft year, both of them were MVP players and it basically got to a point where it was not the most successful place for him because Vernon Maxwell is a thorn in our side and it got to be one of those kind of games."
