All conjurer spells will stay, along with whatever the other sub class is, but with jobs, you can't bring as many over.

I just looked it up, and cnj is no longer a sub for Bard. Maybe it never was. But the main sub is pugilist, and you can bring lancer actions over.

Jobs are meant to work with parties, not necessarily solo. A lot of times when I was either doing solo quests, or even with end game, I'd go thaumaturge instead of black mage just so I could have access to any action I wanted.

Gotcha. Ima just keep doing that until I can get to Hyperion. Then decide from there.

Those don't change again until the update times, correct? If so that means I should have time to get home and get a character created and hopefully have time to get the download going on the wife's computer and have her playing in time to also create a character on the server So much to do, so little time to do it 
While I'm responding to this...I read something earlier about classes/jobs. Am I understanding correctly that Jobs are unlimited too...IE eventually if I wanted to I could have every class/job and just change out as my alt-aholic whims changed?

You can max out everything. There is a special helmet you get when you finish all of your battle classes.

Well, it seems the only way to get a character created on Hyperion is to wake up and do it before work. Went ahead and made my character on the server this morning and did one for my wife as well. I have to say, after creating 4 toons on 3 servers, I freaking love the ability to save how a toon looks and just load it up.

ya, my cousin joined up this morning as well.. crazy thing is, once my other cousin finally transfers over to Hyperion, we are going to have a pretty big group on Hyperion just from The Ham.
