Is there any new news on Chad Jones and if anybody is gonna pick him up or how he is doing? Would love to see him get picked up by someone and atleast be given the chance.

As soon as there is news I guarantee you it will be posted all over the board. Probably gonna be pretty tough for him as he has had some workouts with no further interest from last I saw.

He is the most overhyped player in history next to Billy Cannon (I hear he had a run in the dark against 150 men). When he signs with a team this board will blowup. You'll know.

I agree about the board blowing up if it happened, but not so much about him being that over hyped. He was a great 2-sport athlete at LSU and a GREAT TIGER. IMO, he deserves every bit of the love he gets on here.

Really Clark g. Dude was not over hyped. Chad Jones is the man. Two sport athlete that shined in both sports.

Since the accident, I've always thought that this was his best option. I wouldn't want to take any hits on that leg in the NFL. From what we've seen, it looks like he's in great shape for baseball.

Realistically, his football career ended the day of his accident. He should consider baseball as a last option.
