What is the OT's take on the Honda Ridgeline Truck?

Does anyone own one? Like? Dislike? Possibly might invest in one and trying to get some information about them...

I am assuming that you are using the term invest loosely and not actually expecting it to be a true investment.

Get a Tacoma instead, IMO.

would get a great deal out of it and probably drive it for 2 years or so....it would be a V6 compared to my V8...and I travel 40 min to work everyday...

i had one for living in the city, i loved it, lots of utility and not to big. never did anything serious with it like hauling stuff though. inside is pretty sparton, seems like all pleather and plastic, but it is roomy.

I don't mind them. I wouldn't own one though. You left out the pic of the "truck trunk"!!!!!

Can't say I've seen many guys driving them. So that has to say something.

that trunk was the most used feature you could put all your luggage in it and still have room in the cab for all your passengers and didn't have to worry about people stealing.

This is a neat feature I liked about it...the bedliner is shitty and I would have to get new bedliner on it...but that was something that I liked because you wouldnt have to have a toolbox, you have the hidden trunk

If you have a friend or family selling it for cheap, why not. However, on equal terms, I still choose the Tacoma with a bed topper. Much nicer, reliable, usable, and more storage with the bed cover.

That was my impression of it also. It didn't seem to be too sturdy on the inside.

I'm considering one to replace my Avalanche, since obama motors stopped making them.

I laugh when car salesmen say this. I usually ask them if they understand the difference between investments and expenses.

I always get a dumb look out of them.

To the OP: I like the vehicle. I understand it is a "tweener" but I the car-like ride and the truck usefulness when it's needed.
Purist truck people don't like them.

i like a little wood grain so it felt like it was just all plastic but i like the way it was laid out b/c it was really roomy and people that rode in it always commented how big the back seat was. and for 35k fully loaded you get sunroof and electric back glass, 4 wheel drive, pleather, i liked it, i had it in nyc, so it was a good size to park places. but if i wanted a real truck wouldn't be my first choice even though i bet it could do 90% of what any chevy or ford can do.
