No, but it is not as if he only became a top 10 because of Brick Haley and if he was coached by anyone else he would have been undrafted. Clearly LSU's rep as a DLU and the coaching we offer is a plus, but there are other good coaches out there. We can't argue defensive players would hurt their chances going to A&M without arguing the same thing about offensive player, specifically OLmen and LSU.

No the fence is still up. I just talked to GWIII father he is in control of Gerald and Speedy's recruitment and he said that article is gibberish bull crap so everyone chillout LSU is still the front runner, for now.

Mingo was drafted where he was based on potential. Moore was drafted where he was because he was a badass.
Moore led aTm with 85 tackels, and 21 for a loss.
I think Mingo had under 40 this season.

And I'm sure they had the same exact responsibilities in their respective defenses to make it an apples to apples comparison.
But I don't know what Moore has to do with Mingo being coached up. He could have all the potential in the world, if he hadn't been coached up for the last 4 years he wouldn't have been drafted, especially in the first round.
He'd have been at the regional camp with that Okoye kid that the 49ers just picked up.

Someone suggested Willis should not go to aTm because of where Mingo was drafted in comparison to Moore. I said I didnt agree. Mingo has more upside than Moore and that is why he was drafted where he was.
