As much as it pains me to say this, Lebron is so far above anyone else in this league, and it's not even funny.

Durant is still the 2nd best in the league but the gap between the two is just absurd. No way LBJ let's the Rockets win that game on the road if it was his team playing, no matter the circumstances. And Durant is playing fine even without Westbrook but he simply does not have the ability to elevate every other teammate on the floor like Lebron does.

What LBJ was able to do in Cleveland with that roster they had is nothing short of incredible.

Durant's second game without Westbrook. I think it is a little early to make this judgement.

He literally hasn't played a game without Westbrook since Westbrook got in the league.

That's a valid point, but what Lebron is able to do all around at this point is just absurd. I don't see Durant getting close to that anytime soon.

All the more reason why Westbrook is important.

What LeBron did in Cleveland was beyond remarkable. People really forget how bad his team was all around. He carried those teams. People always say he couldn't win it all. Name me one player who won it all by himself.

Sucks so much to lose him. I know most will disagree with me, but I really think the Thunder had a great shot to beat the Heat this year. History has taught us that crowning the dominant team way ahead of time typically doesn't equal the actual outcome. Plus, as the 3rd scoring option, Ibaka was really starting to come into his own. Loved that everyone already had the Heat penciled in to repeat. Unfortunately, now I don't see anyway it doesn't happen.

What did LeBron do with the Cavs that was really that impressive? The East was weak sauce and usually a two team conference in his Cavs days.

When did LeBron help complete the sweep of a team as good as Houston right after losing his starting PG and 20%+ of his teams scoring?

also, those Cavs teams are nowhere near as bad as people make them out to be. Of course they stunk when he left. They had their coach fired and the team was completely built around him.

I learned this a long time before this series.

I guess I'm a good student.

I don't know how many people really watched the bucks-heat series but every single game the heat made their 14-0 run at the end of the third to put the game away it was always lebron and three point shooters. No one, repeat no one, in today's NBA is remotely close to James in terms of making his teammates better

Lebron is the best in the game right now by far and he makes it look easy because he doesn't have to drop 40 a game. It still amazes me he brought that cavs team to the finals. With all that said Durant is second best and with how young he is he will only get better the next couple years.

Think back to Cavs-era Lebron, Durant is in that stage of his career.

But your point remains.

Lebron taking the Cavs to the Finals was indeed impressive but as somebody else has already mentioned, the East was just straight up garbage back then. Which is why when they played the Spurs in the finals they got swept.

I believe he's also talking about easily getting out of the first round and making it to the ECF with those teams as well. I don't even think LeBron had a player as good as Serge Ibaka on any of those Cav teams. Struggling with Houston is not a good look.

This is showing how Westbrook is the leader of OKC. They have never looked this flat before.

Umm well what are you doing there? Lebron's lost home playoff games before.

Did you forget last years playoffs against the Pacers and Celtics?

Lebron is the unquestioned best player in the league but let's not make a false narrative to justify it.

All that will lead to is people treating Durant like they did Lebron before last year.
