I agree with this and IMO it was not even that close. When the punt was blocked there was a release of all the pent up frustration that the residents had been dealing with from Katrina. The explosion of emotions were a heavy mix of football joy and a release of tension from everyday life. While the FG was also loud, it was by that point mostly a football celebration. But make no mistake, both were loud as hell.

I was in the same seats but for both but I have always believe the Deuce first down run was louder than both.
