I bet there is more fear now with camera phones and social media. Seems like the 80s were the real wild west of under the table benefits.

My preferred solution is allowing players control of their images so they can endorse products. But they shouldn't receive money from the school, except maybe a larger stipend.

That's about all I would agree to. And as long as they are NCAA eligible, they can't get the money.

Brandon Bass left school a year early. LSU would have won the national championship if he hadn't left early. Brandon Bass left school early because LSU did not give him any improper benefits so you are WRONG is assuming they did.
