I don't think I've ever seen such rantard agreement on a single topic which invites so many varied responses.
I've followed LSU football for decades and 1/9/12 was THE mnost embarrassed I've been.
The fact that this was a dominant team with a 13-0 record is one reason this performance was all the more inexplicable, together with the stubborn refusal to attempt adjustments.

I had to. Either way, I'm not offering anything to this thread so no harm no foul. No one wants to hear about embarrassing baseball losses. They only wanna cry together about football like women on their periods.

one baseball loss doesn't hurt as a football loss. in football a whole season can go down the tubes after one loss

A season ending series loss at home with the chance to go to Omaha to a team no one has ever heard of hurts as much as a football loss IMO

For example, this past football season I wasn't nearly that pissed off after our loss to UF because I knew we still had our whole season ahead of us.

1/9/12 sucked bad, really bad. But the most embarrassed I've ever been as an LSU fan was on 10/9/93...Florida 58 LSU 3. Things seemed so bleak at that point that I couldn't ever imagine that 20 years later LSU would have one of the top 5 football programs in the country.

I'm typically most embarrassed by some random fan within a 15' radius of me at any LSU football game...

Anyone that lists stony brook can't be more than a casual baseball fan. Baseball is a very different game than football. Stony Brook beating LSU =\= App State beating Michigan.

Mine is 1/9. That was hard to get over.

disappointed is a better word for embarrassed to me. Of course, 01/09/12 is on the list. I was aware of the goings on, on the field during the later DiNardo era, so there's that. Stony Brook vs. Baseball was a huge disappointment. However the most disappointed I've been was when TM7 was dismissed from the team.

So in order:
TM7's dismissal
01/09/12
Jerry DiNardo
Stony Brook Super Regional

Loss to Clemson. Honestly, I don't know why it still gets to me.

Losing to UAB Homecoming 2000.

Losing to Stony Brook wasn't that bad. They fought like junkyard dogs.
