Meaning it is still innate and not a choice.

BTW, if sexuality were a choice, that means that YOU at some point made that choice. If you chose, when did you decide to be straight? For how long were you bisexual prior to choosing straightness?

I'm gonna laugh and assume this is a joke.

There is no gay gene

it's certainly a biological defect, but it may not be a genetic defect

So you gave me a link to prove a point, and thus also are admitting that you may be wrong about it being a choice?

Ok...

i believe an etreme minority (at least in males, i think female homosexuals choose to be gay at a much higher rate) choose the alternative lifestyle, but I think the vast majority of the time it's biological

but it is clearly a biological defect

Wait wut?

Is murder a conscious choice, because animals do it naturally?

Is cannabalism a conscious choice, because animals do it naturally?

So yes, gay sex can still be a conscious choice for humans, even if animals do it naturally

Maybe you missed that day in class. Humans are a higher life form and don't give in to animalistic instincts

I dunno man, I just don't see comparing what an animal in the wild (nature) does, to what a functioning human does. Sorry

if we are talking about what is a "natural law" in the animal kingdom you dont see how pointing out other animals have gay sex too is a valid comparison? really?

Sorry man. Just don't. I do think humans are smarter than animals.

holy shite man.

is killing another person against the laws of nature? No!

is cannibalism against the laws of nature? No!

Of course as a "higher" animal we try discourage that shite.

Having gay sex is not = to murdering and eating somebody. Its not even in the same ballpark.

I'm sorry but bringing that up as a reason to be against gay is is flat out ridiculous.

what in the world does that have to do with "natural laws" and if gay sex breaks them or not?

So sexual preference in humans is a choice, correct?

We choose which sex we are attracted to, yes?

Collins pretty much confirmed that the ghey is a choice

1) he has an identical twin who is not gay. So its not in his DNA

2) he had a fiance for 8 years, and 'forced' himself to sex her up. So he is obviously capable of making a choice about his sexual preference

/debare

or maybe he had a fiance for 8 years because he was ashamed to come out due to the intolerance from f**ktards like you? that's why him coming out is important, to give courage to others in his situation.

No, meaning here is no gay gene, so their next best guess is epigenetic. It however is still not proven. They will eventually resolve that it is a choice because they cannot find the science to back up the claim that it is innate

No. The default is hetero. It has to be that way for the continuation of the species. There is also a default for pleasure, if not it would just be a physical chore that many would not do, and risk the continuation of the species.

To receive pleasure from any other method is a choice to satisfy the urge and release the pleasure mechanism.

What's funny is that his own link he posted while calling me ignorant doesn't even prove him right that having an identical twin that is straight proves it is a choice.

There is more than enough science to say that it us innate. Read the material from the APA.

Also, the only person here talking about a gay gene (or its lack) is you. Nice strawman.

If sexual orientation is a choice, then logically the default has to be bisexual.

If you contend that you have never had to choose, then that means that sexual orientation is innate--whichever orientation a person happens to be.

ETA: you still haven't answered the question about the person who doesn't have sex or even kiss someone else for his entire life. What is that person's orientation?
