There has been a late of complaints about ESPN as a whole and certain people on the entire network.
So who are some people that you enjoy listening to or respect that are there, or some aspects of ESPN you like.
Personally I love the 30 for 30 series and no matter what sport I love watching them all.
I also like listening to Tim Legler and his insight on the NBA, I also think Trent Dilfer and Woodson are both very good.
I have always been a fan of the OTL program.

30 for 30 is great. OTL and E60 are not as consistent, but they have some solid stuff from time to time.
Wright Thompson has some very good features on the site, and they have some other good senior writers. Don van Natta is a very solid investigative reporter.
I like their increased coverage of the summer soccer tournaments like Euro 2008 and Euro 2012. Good NBA coverage as well.

Quit watching ESPN after LSU beat the gumps 9-6. Their obvious push for the rematch had agenda written all over it. Been way better off without it to be honest.

I like Bill Simmons and Jalen Rose (when he is doing college stuff). I listen to Mike & Mike every morning when I get up.
Colin Cowherd has grown on me.
I actually enjoy Bruce Pearl when he does the college stuff

30 for 30 is fantastic.
PTI is the original debate/banter show that so many have tried to replicate.
Bob Knight doing color work is awesome

I usually don't watch ESPN anymore except for games. Scott Van Pelt is the best personality on the network.

I know he is popular, but I can't stand Bill Simmons. I think he is a terrible writer.

If we're extending it to Grantand, Zach Lowe is the best basketball analytics writer on the planet. A real superstar.
Good features probably twice a week, and I like Simmons on general NBA topics that don't include the Celtics or Lakers. Rembert writes the same fricking thing every day but it's usually funny. Barnwell is a solid football analytics guy

I'll throw Linda Cohn in there. Hate if you want but I've had a crush on her since I was 7.

I don't know how I forgot about Zach Lowe. I guess I was thinking about the TV guys.
I love John Hollinger, but that probably has to do with him being in the Grizzlies front office now

I hope Lowe doesn't leave to go to the NBA next year. Their first analytical guy is now on the Thunder, and obviously Hollinger is at Memphis. I doubt Simmons will give Lowe $250K or anything close to that if he gets an offer.

MJ's sloppy seconds >>>> LBJ's sloppy seconds

Rumor is Cohn got some of the GOAT back in the day

I have a huge bone to pick with Grantland and how they use analytical data. Guys like Lowe and Jonah Keri do a great job; guys like Bill Barnwell use it horribly. The fact that Barnwell is the lead NFL guy is an atrocity to an otherwise good site.
