To make a long story short: Back playing golf after a 6 year hiatus. Stayed scoring around 100-110 for the first year. Used my TM Burner 3 wood hybrid this weekend and shot 92. I was staying on the fairway and close to if not on the green with long approaches. This club has even improved my driver. Still in between clubs 100-40 yds so awaiting a SW to complete my bag.

CSB, i know.

So, one club that you used on a few holes saved you 18 strokes? I want that club.

I shot 92 as a personal best the last time I played. Now I know I am gonna be pissed when I shoot 95+. It is nice to be able to get pissed at missing pars rather than missing double-bogeys hahaha

I've got a hybrid 5 for fairway shots in long grass. But the best club I ever bought was a Texas Chipper. I looked it up on the net and couldn't find a pic.

I bought it 8 years ago in a used club bin for ten bucks. It's a putter with a 2 iron face.

I've used it from 100 yards when the grass has turned to dirt.

Great for going under low hanging tree limbs.

Glad you're playing well. I can't hit a hybrid for anything. It's a mental thing i must have seeing that funny shaped head. Luckily I'm striping my new 2-iron.

I told some douche bag yesterday the same thing. He said I can't believe you still hit a two iron.

I just laughed.

I'm like others in this thread. I stand over that hybrid, and it looks weird. I don't know what it is. It's like somebody broke off the back of a 3 wood.

This little slut I keep in my bag doesn't play. She only wants to BANG!

It is my trouble club. Can slap out of trees and shape out of trees. I just still like that I can hit a 2-iron and get it in the air.

As was mentioned hybrids give me the same problems I have with a 3-wood. Dead pulls left.

Hybrid is coming around though. I am actually drawing it at Top Golf when I go.

i used to kill my hybrids
but as i got better at the game and actually hitting my driver consistently straight and long, i cannot hit a hybrid anymore for shite.
i think its because i used it so much back then being always so far out on par 4s and now i never use it but maybe on a par 5..

I used to do this. Then I put the ball in the middle of my stance. Been destroying my hybrids and 3 wood ever since.

Hmm, rethinks hybrids all together.

Nah, I kid. I still get confused about what I'm looking at on the deck.

Hitting the hybrid made me adjust my hands before the ball and i applied this to the driver and slightly to the irons. Twas genius.

Adams xtd super 2 hybrid. Super hot. Love it. But lately I'm hitting it left of left.
