Aaron Brooks...quite possibly the most frustrating QB I've ever watched.

I don't associate that year with haslett. He was a perennial 7-8 win coach. No coach could've done a better job with that situation, and I commend him for not quitting. He knew he was gone, why put up with that shite?

I'm mostly thankful for what this era lead to

I remember feeling that we were right on the cusp of greatness at certain points in the haslett era. It just took a little longer than expected.

I was at all four of those God-awful games in Tiger Stadium. I questioned my sanity at one point.

I thank Haslett for 2000, Joe Horn pre ATL, Deuce McAllister, Michael Lewis, Mike Mckenzie, Kyle Turley pre STL, Darren Howard, Lecharles Bentley....could have lived without Jonathan Sullivan, letting go of Roaf, Glover, Sammy knight, wish I never heard of tebuky Jones, Dale Carter, any of his LB'ers Roger Knight, Courtney Watson, Cie Grant, Colby Something....post 2000 Norman hand, Grady, Buu Williams, or a Qb who doesn't know where the center is or where the crazy mascot on a golf cart is

You know, they were pretty consistently mediocre, but at that point consistently mediocre was about as good as it got for this franchise.

If he'd played Delhomme over an injured Brooks we may be having a totally different discussion about the man right now though tbh. But probably not. Ok definitely not.

I remember making the trip over to the Dome at the beginning of the 2002 season. Jerry Fontenot absolutely crushed some Packers DB on a screen pass. That block ended up springing Donte Stallworth to a touchdown.

it might have been Mike McKenzie that he hit too

can't remember. Anyway, the Saints offense looked pretty damn good that day. I think Keyou Craver even scored a touchdown for the Saints on a fumble return also.

I went to the Bears game. Did the paper airplanes make a visit every game or was that the only one?

It was the other dreaded DB, Harris I think

Started that season 6-1, missed the playoffs losing our last 3 to the 3 worst teams in the league that year

Vikings
Bengals
Panthers
