Saints really didn't do much and the O had its worse game of the year
Doesn't mean it wasn't a fantastic, entertaining, nailbighting game though. It wasn't our best but it was one of the most exciting games I can remember

I had a 6 week old daughter at home at that time, and I was literally curled in the fetal position, equal parts newborn who won't sleep and Saints anxiety wrapped into one.

Was like a dream...

I'm glad we won, but looking back at it, especially after seeing the NFL films on it...we were pretty lucky to have won that game.

This. I think we are past the statute of limitations on it. We can confess how lucky we were

I was in a Buffalo Wild Wings that was full of Saints fans (don't tell me Shreveport is a Cowboys city) and the Vikes were driving. You could just feel it slipping away. On that 3rd and 15 the Vikes were gonna run it and we'd have to hope for a missed long field goal.

Then Favre comes out throwing and starts rolling to the right and it was like watching in slow motion. I'm thinking, "Holy shite he's about to throw back across his body!" and then Porter stepped in front. Everybody in BWW came back to life. I'll never forget how loud it was in there when Hartley hit that field goal.

You're right, he had 4 yards easy.

I've always been a Favre fan. After that game, I was even more of one
