The Saints roster list no other center and the depth chart is DOA.

On the official website? That thing is pretty worthless. However teams don't usually carry two pure centers (on the final 53 man roster). Olsen already has experience, and other interior linemen will be cross trained.

I consider every human being that played on the worst NFL defense ever last year somewhat of a hole. Really hope they can turn it around but at some point the personnel on the field probably ought to be accountable.

This.....Olsen came out of Notre Dame as a center. The fact he is listed as a guard doesn't mean he forgot how to play center. He was active all of the games last year as a swing man...center or guard. The team only dresses 7 ol on game day and you can't have a backup center who can't play guard, too.

I'm still not sure where a pass rush is going to come from and thats concerning. We're going to have largely the same unit as last year and they usually couldn't even breathe on the QB.

Spags had Smith and Jordan at DE most of the time. Jordan played well. Smith was hot garbage. He really limited the snaps of Junior and Tez (and Hicks), but when they were on the field they were effective. Bulter has been effective in his limited snaps.

I'm not worried if we'll have a pass rush or get pressure. What I'm worried about is going against these more mobile QB's and losing contain on the outsides.

I think there is a giant hole at DE. Could use more complete olb's as well. We'll see how KV does before you can say that the hole at safety is filled. LT is still a question. RT is a position that could use an upgrade next year.

Because we ran a 3-4 last year that put our best pass rushers in a position to get to the qb? It baffles me that people are still using last year as some kind of gauge for next year. That would make sense if we were going into next year with the same defensive scheme and same players.

Jordan should be much better in a 3-4, and Hicks has potential to be a Richard Seymour type player at that spot. Maybe they could use some depth, but even then you have guys like Will Smith and Tom Johnson for depth. Definitely don't think there is a "giant hole".

Also, I feel like some people want our entire defense to be made up of CB's and OLB's.
