When he came back from injury, he really excelled at CJ's offense...the same one the saints run.

If we were going to nab a QB this year, this exactly the kind if guy you want. Someone you can mold and possibly be ready in about 3-4 years.
If Drew were retiring this year and Daniel was stepping up, I'd be confident he learned enough to help lead us to a potential playoff berth in all of his time here. I look forward to seeing Griffin learn and grow in this offense learning from Drew.

Haven't seen much of him, but what I did was pretty impressive on a crappy team. I have no idea what he'll end up doing with the Saints long term, but I wouldn't just assume he's a "camp body".
