Hitler was an SGU fan.

I seem to recall a much better Stargate Downfall vid but it was taken down and never put back up.

Up to season 8 of SG1 so I jumped over to Atlantis season 1.

On the season finale. Bit of a plot problem. Seems like the wraith would have no problem beaming everyone up.

Seems like the show should end with this episode.

Well, I thought I liked the Ori storyline when it happened but so far season 9 of SG1 blows for the most part.

Beau Bridges and the plot with his daughter is just terrible. He ain't got nuttin on Hammond.

Continuing on with my Atlantis watch. Started season 3 last night.

Hmmmmmm. I wonder how SGU will stack up against season 9&10 of SG1.

Overall season 9&10 sucked. I had a tough time getting through them. It was clear the budget was slashed with SEVERAL episodes having just part of the team and almost all of the off world trips were to tiny villages.

Sure must have been a ton of Ori if they were willing to exert so much energy to convert a village of 20.

I enjoyed Atlantis until the end, but on second viewing season 9 and 10 of SG1 do not hold up.

Will SGU age better?

Dang it. I was excited thinking you had news of a new stargate show or movie.

Nope. SGU killed the chances of that happening anytime soon.

Ok. Finally polished off SG1. Finished Atlantis weeks ago.

I still love me some Atlantis all the way from start to finish.

SG1 falls apart hard the last couple of seasons. I really like Vala but she can't save the show. General Landy is an abomination from start to finish. The storyline with his wife and daughter is pure crap.

Also don't like the way they end the Asgard plot.

Since ending my SG1 viewing, I watched the following to cleanse my palate. Jumping straight to SGU would not have been fair.

1. Luther
2. Deadwood
3. Yes Minister
4. Yes Prime Minister
5. Justified Season 1 & 2
6. The Good Life
7. Weeds - Final Season
8. The Office - Season 8

Thus with Sci-Fi Palate cleansed. I undertake SGU.

Will it be as bad as remembered? Will it be better than the last 2 seasons of SG1? Will it be as bad as Terra Nova?

Once more into the breach...

How much would it have improved SGU if they had gated to a world with sharknados?

100 fold. At least then, there would have been a gate visit and alien life.

I think I will do a 1 paragraph summary of each episode for posterity although not sure every episode has enough going on to have a 1 paragraph summary.
