With his ties to New Orleans, how were we not able to pull him in? I know this has probably been talked about, just hearing about it last night had me thinking. And yes, I know he was playing at Foley.

I'm pretty sure he mentioned lsu as his favorite early but for some reason we offered kinda late. Once he committed to bama he was moved to foley within weeks.

What i heard was the same issue with Eddie Lacy, grades. No one believed he would ever qualify. But like Lacy miraculously he becomes a Rhodes scholar and gets into Bama.
