the bears are thick thru that area up there . There have been several hit on highway 17 . They need a season in a bad way . I saw 5 riding our pipeline in one day last year . Can't stand them thingsThis post was edited on 4/25/13 at 11:55 pm

Two State guys came today. We found where he crossed the fence entering and leaving. They are setup in my pasture with night vision scopes. Head lady called and said he will be killed!!!

I killed a 135 b/c 8 pt on Tensas and had a bear walk up to me and eat the gut pile that was about 5 yards in front of where I was sitting on the ground. After he got his fill, he covered it with leaves and left. He came back everyday until he finished it. Had some great pics and video on my computer that I lost to a lighting strike.

First of all, it's common OB practice not to shoot anything with a collar. Second, if you frickup and shoot collared bear, just find a non collard stray dog and make the switch. By the time they figure out why they got a "bear" in the city pound that ole bear will be long gone.
