Hard to argue with the result on the field and the seemingly ambivalent attitude of the coaching staff.

I think we all EVERYONE are being wayyyy too Neurotic about this team and trying so damn hard to pass judgement no matter what "side" you may be on. Why not quit trying to jump to conclusions and simply enjoy this season.

After today's game I actually think this theory may be true. Why not rest for the regionals?
did anyone ever warn you about hanging out with 10 year olds.

Well, losing that game at Bama on purpose really backfired. All that did was teach this team how to lose. We won't win another series this season.

OP is a genius, he knew Mainieri would tell players to start having untimely hitting and to make as many bad plays in the field as possible

No it's called lack of trying. Why bust your balls and go 100% when you are a regional lock?

Because we want a super regional too? Because we want to win games? Because we want to win the SEC? Because SC is a good team?

Should I continue?

You can't possibly be this stupid.

O, I get it. You've never watched baseball before.

Let me see if I can dig up a good book for you to read about it. With pictures.

All of that is nice to have the only one that is necessary is the super regional. Go HAM starting day 1 of the regional and the regular season means nothing. We are a regional lock for national seed why put your time, effort, and health on the line for these meaningless games.

We aren't a lock for anything right now. And it makes me question whether you've ever played competitive sports if you think a team would go for weeks not caring if they win or lose.

Okay I've never heard of Skip purposely losing games. He would never do that, he expected perfection from his players. CPM is too friendly and doesn't enforce strict enough standards IMO. We need Yankee style team rules. That is what will truly seperate us from the wannabes.

Holy... shite...
