I'm sure y'all have heard that Charlie's closed due to rent issues, but I passed today and there are for sale signs out front. What the hell? Why didnt the landlord just sell to Brigtsen? Anybody have inside scoop on the deal?

All I know is that they were going at it, hard and heavy, since January.
They're asking $510,000.
So this landlord basically beats down Frank Brigtsen for four months, then evicts him. NOW he puts it up for sale, he's got nothing. So instead of a functioning successful restaurant, paying him rent. He's got nothing.
