My idea for a pga golf tournament

Would this be fun to watch?
Players are ranked 1-48
Top 12 are group 1
Next are 2
Next are 3
Next are 4
12 foursomes play only against your foursome
Winner of each foursome advanced.
48 drops to 32 for round 2
Drops to 16 for round 3
And 4 finalist play in finals.
They can be reseeded or grouped from the start as to who plays who in rounds 2-4.
Think any players would play?
