In terms of TV comedies, where do you rank it?

I have it at the top, personally. Archer a close second.

I Love Archer and its laughable to have it in the same breathe as AD

AD is the funniest show ive ever seen, but its objectivly its HAS to be the best written show ever, at the very least in comedys

Archer doesn't belong on any greatest comedy ever list.

AD is not my top, but I wouldn't berate anyone for having it number one. It's a great show.

Seinfeld is always going to be number one for me.

I want to get my parents into it this summer, but they have horribly short attention spans. Is there a certain time that it gets hilarious? I seem to remember it being funny from day one.

I think this is spot on. Putting those 3 in order would be very difficult.

First

Seinfeld is the only other comedy in its league IMO.

I'll actually take it even further. I love Parks and Rec. I think it is the funniest comedy on TV today. And I would say AD's least funny episode is as funny as Parks' funniest.

Archer is not as good, but it is actually a good companion type show I think. In the same way AD uses tons of call backs, lots of subtle and esoteric references, a bunch of mumbled lines from characters on the boundary of scenes that kill, etc so too does Archer. I've told people that if you like AD, you ought to like Archer for many of the same reasons...provided you can get passed the fact that it's animated. Some can't.

But yeah...AD is an all time great comedy.
