FBD is a SN Torpedo. One of my favorite IPAs. I'm glad it's so easily available.

FBD was a Bourbon Barrel chocolate porter while waiting on those bad boys to get home. Oh and while waiting on the SO to get home too.

I hope you don't have to slam on the brakes. Would be a smelly shame.

There was a thread about it on the front page earlier.

Karbauch Barn Burner Saison

I liked it, just wasn't what I expected. Sweet and fruity. Seemed more like an American wit to me than a saison. I pounded them, though.

Alright fellas.

So an older man that works at my company was big in the Air Force and loves aviation. Anyways, he builds these:

I asked him what he needs from me to build one. He said 6 16oz cans and 12 12oz cans. I know I know, it seems like a lot for a little.

My only question is, what beer do I use? I was thinking hopitoulas 16oz and Nola blonde 12oz.

I'd like to keep the number of beers down because I would like to remember exactly what cans were used in the future. If there's 11 different beers, I'd always forget one or two.

Thoughts? Comments? Concerns?

SBD is a homebrewed Simcoe pale ale. Needs another day to finish carbonating, but it smells and tastes awesome.

I think Tin Roof cans would look interesting cut up like that. They remind me of the coke-can planes my grandparents used to make for their camper.

You a simcoe fan? The few times I've used them I have not been happy with the end result. Not sure if it was the recipes, my process, or what. I just didn't like them. My friends seemed to enjoy the beers, but I'm not sure if they were just being nice to catch a free buzz.

O'Hare sucks you can't get any of the good beers from the thread I started. But what should I have expected from an airport

Alas:

FBD, 2BD, 4BD - goose island IPA
3BD - summit IPA - it sucked arse
