Grossman goes 2-5 (2 doubles) in MLB Debut.
Got a win last night. Still not the worst team in the bigs.
Are there any good Astros message boards? Whenever you google "forums," they usually just give you the same ESPN message board crap.

I don't know if you consider Crawfish Boxes a message board but I enjoy it. You can comment and the new gifs section they have is pretty cool, considering I can't watch the games.

The message board on the Astros official website is actually decent. I use it to keep up with the minor leaguers and draft prospects at the very least.

I hate that for Maxwell, he's not hit as well as I expected but he's played really well in CF. That being said, I'm excited to see Grossman play. Y'all may not be fmiliar with him but we got him in the Sandy deal. 23 years old and he's an on base machine. Can hit for average and takes a ton of walks. Which this lineup needs. He's a true lead off option and gives us the ability to slide altuve into the 2 hole where's he's better suited

I read that. Grossman was in the top 15 in the PCL in OBP.

looking at his minor league numbers, he doesn't hit for as much average as I was thinking he had. And he also strikes out a lot but his career OBP is .381 and 2 seasons ago he had 104 walks.

The Orange Whoopass board is the best. The TalkZone is the main daily discussion board plus they have great analysis of the farm system and game threads. They are also old school sarcastic bastard fans that fit the TD style.
