Not just that, but he's not some junky that shot himself in the face or ODed on an opiate cocktail. The guy was killed by undertow. Damn shame.

Wasnt he drunk as a skunk when he drowned?

Edit: i like Pink just as much as Sunny Day Real Estate, Fall out Boy as much as Sigur Ros, Marron 5 as much as Mew.

Very little I dislike other than country and jam bands.

No, the autopsy found no drugs or alcohol in his system. He was as sober as a day at the office.

Mentioning Mew usually elicits a "You mean Muse?"

I couldn't take Ghost Reveries out of my car for months when it dropped.

Right there with you. I think that's probably my favorite album of theirs. It just seems so complete and I feel bad turning it off at any point. It deserves full listens.

Ghost Reveries is hands down my favorite, but i listen to Blackwater Park and Still Life religiously as well. Orchid grew on me after a while. I'm seeing them in Asheville next month.

Watershed and Heritage are both pretty awesome, too. I know most Opeth fans had odd reactions to the jazzier direction on Heritage, but I absolutely love it. Shows so much depth and Axe is awesome. Storm Corrosion is the perfect compliment.

Awesome. I haven't seen them in a couple of years, but they always bring it. Fredrik has really found his groove.

At first i thought it was meh. Then i gave it a couple more listens and abslolutely fell in love with Heritage. They're doing the whole album in Asheville, NC in the next few weeks, i can't wait to go. I've never seen Opeth live.

You won't be disappointed. Well, it's kind of disappointing that you can only concentrate on one of them playing at a time.

Janet Jackson. Frick yea!

Sweet little versatile voice.
Well produced.
Catchy. Simple.
Makes you feel something.

If this is wrong I don't wanna be right!

Hell, Chris Isaak is badass. At least he can do on stage what he puts on record.

I like plenty of bad stuff, but I figure I make up for it by liking some good stuff, too.

The worst might be the Pussycat Dolls, "Don'tcha." It's great on the treadmill.
