Ive caught a lot of them and we have them in Indian creek as well and cocodrie. Ive always called them bream, but I believe its a mix of blue gill and something.

Looks bad. Last lake has promise, but the beginning of Grand Lac is already screwed. Did not run to the end where it gets big. Found some past Coulee Noir, but all small.

Pretty poor. I would guess I caught 12 to 15 with only 1 being a keeper.

That ain't worth a damn, but it seems about par for the course this year. We caught last weekend, and caught nothing this past weekend.

Bream are known to cross breed a lot in the wild.

That looks like a cross between a bluegill and a goggle eye. Has the shape and orange throat of a bluegill and the speckled/splotchy pattern of a goggle eye.

That's my best guess.

Sunfish hybrid for sure
Just saw another sunfish debate on another board. The OP thinks this is a Bluegill x Goggle eye. I think either straight up bluegill or red-spoted,

I will with the exception of 1 batch of bream per year. I got to get my fried fin/tail chip fix.
