Is he a senior this year? I'm not seeing him listed as a commit to anyone on Perfect Game.

Watched him and the 1st baseman for West Monroe duke it out in the HR derby earlier this year. While he didn't win, this kid abused the ball. Extremely fast on the bases with an above average arm.

Because he's considered signable.

A friend of mine works with Ivan's sister and she said that he has told his family that if he does go to college he will go to Grambling. Apparently she is pissed but the rest of the family is pushing him to go there.
The kid hit 3 HR's in their last game so maybe his sister can talk some sense into him.

He's my little brother's age, I'm 2 years older than him. He played travel ball with my little bro and we played against him all through high school. The kid isn't just raw, he knows the game, very smart player and very level-headed. My dad said he's one of the best kids he's ever coached.
