Anthony Davis the leader

Based on his rookie campaign, it's safe to say AD is our franchise player going forward. That being said what do you think about AD the leader? I get that he is only 20 playing with a group of guys years older, but even at Kentucky while he was the best player, MKG was considered the leader. Right now Jason Smith, Vasquez, and Ryno seem to be the leaders. Going forward do you think he will become the vocal leader of the locker room, or be one of those guys that lead by example?
If he is a type that leads by example, I do not consider it a knock or anything, just curious since he doesn't seem like a rah rah type of guy.

Once he develops that star mentality on the court, I believe he'll turn into the leader off it. He's just too young atm.

For all the bashing Vasquez gets I absolutely loved his attitude during the season. He was always pumping up his teammates.

This is one of the other reasons why I am opposed to trading Vasquez. You have to pay to upgrade, which is a modest upgrade at best, and you trade away your most vocal leader on the team. It just seems like a bad idea at this junction.

Are they leaders? I've seen them play passionate ball, but not really get in anyone's face or coach up teammates etc.
If anything, they are leaders by default. How many successful teams have these types of players as their leaders?

We didn't have any leaders like that this year. We really missed guys like Jarrett Jack and Carl Landry

Last year's lineup-
PG - Jack
SG - Belinelli
SF - Ariza
PF - Landry
C - Oak / Kaman
This year's lineup-
PG - Vasquez
SG - Gordon / Mason
SF - Aminu
PF - Davis
C - Lopez
Outside of having Gordon for more than five games and having Anderson on the bench, I don't see how this lineup is "much superior" to last year's team.

You people are downright insane if you think that our talent wasn't vastly superior this year.
You do remember that we had Squeaky, Solomon Jones, Jerome Dyson, Donald Sloan, Larry Foote, Dejuan Summers, Lance Thomas (pre Team USA training camp), Trey Johnson, and Darryl Watkins all actually seeing time on the floor last year right?
You keep pointing to Okafor, but he was hurt the majority of the year and when he wasn't, he was pretty downright awful.
Trevor Ariza couldn't even see minutes on the WASHINGTON WIZARDS this year.
But yeah, I'm being a moron.
But to entertain you morons that think that somehow this team's talent wasn't vastly superior I'll break it down for you.

Gordon for 40 games >>>> Belinelli (period, end of story)
Aminu > Ariza

Gordon played in 4 times more as many games as last year. Even limited, that should have made a huge difference. Also, adding Anderson and Davis should have been giant upgrades. But the team made downgrades moving from Jack to Vasquez, Ariza to Aminu and Oak to Lopez, plus Rivers sucked really bad early. So in the end, it all washed out.
