I'm kind of intrigued with the Renfree kid from Duke. Kind of sit him a year, he could be a solid back up for years.

Here's a list for your viewing pleasure.

I like Renfree and Griffin. I think both would do well in our system, especially Griffin as he has actually been in it.

I would roll the dice in the hopes that it's in his genes

Without a doubt Griffin since he already knows the system and he had a good year in the system

"knowing the system" is of no use to me since our qb likely won't be No.2 this year and he'll be groomed for years to come.

This is a stretch. He may have played in a similar offense, but there is no way that a college system is even close to an advanced NFL system.

Tulane

Not going to be as advanced as an NFL offense, IDC who runs it.

Bray by a mile. I also would love taking Tyler Wilson with our 4th round pick if he falls.

I think a lot of people like him. I think he will go faster than most people think.

From my post in another thread:

quote:

It's a really weak QB class, but here are some possible late round sleepers. I like Renfree and Rogers (Aaron Roger's little brother)

Projected 40 Time: 4.88.
Projected Round (2013): 5-7.

Nathan Stanley, QB, Southeastern Louisiana
Height: 6-5. Weight: 215.
Projected 40 Time: 4.95.
Projected Round (2013): 6-FA.

Tino Sunseri, QB, Pittsburgh
Height: 6-2. Weight: 215.
Projected 40 Time: 4.63.
Projected Round (2013): 7-FA.

Jordan Rodgers, QB, Vanderbilt
Height: 6-1. Weight: 205.

I see them nabbing Renfree or Griffin as a UDFA, then ride the Practice Squad for a year

I mocked Matt Scott previously. If they got him 4th or 5th Rd I'd be stoked for the developmental potential.
