I think it would make for awesome drama.

Agree.

I think with a CL final on the line you have to start your best player.

If Klopp is leaving too no question he plays him. If not, he better hope the fans are forgiving.

That said I'd be very surprised to see Dortmund get past Real Madrid.

The drama can't help. Love the way both clubs play, but I think Real takes it quite easily in the end.

If Kloppo manages to go 4 games this season vs RM and not lose plus advance to the final then they should express ship all of the gold and diamonds in the world to Dortmund and erect a huge statue on the grounds somewhere

I'm almost positive Merkel is just posturing for the public, I think they are buddy buddy and Uli is a member of the CDU. I don't know how knowledgable she actually is about soccer, but she attends all the national team games and some high profile Buli and CL matches. Always seems to be paying attention and somewhat invested in the match. Lord knows die Kanzlerin is not the most popular lady in Germany right now, so it would really be quite foolish for her not to publicly chastise him.

Seems like a sensible lot up in Dortmund lol

crayyyy not

Dortmund is working class type town so this is not surprising, people view places Munich and Frankfurt as the elitist and the ones with all the money.

I started pulling for them a few years back as the anti FC Bayern, most germans do as well in general b/c the extreme distaste for Bayern even if its the most popular team here.
