According to James Smith Brumfield will probably be moving to center in his career at LSU. LSU leads for LF considerably. Trey Quinn was in attendance and enjoyed his visit. Cliff Garrett was blown away at LSU and said it was a better visit than his visit to Bama by a long shot. LSU is leader for him. Jabrill Peppers enjoyed his time in Baton Rouge but is considered a long shot. Malachi Dupre looks to have more potential than Reuben Randle. LSU in good position for him. LSU remains leader for Tony Brown. Anthony Jones is high on LSU. Predicts Saeed Blacknell and Trey Quinn commitments are imminent. Also says Tony Upchurch may lose his spot in place for Dupre, Noil, Quinn, and Blacknell.

you would hope. LSU certainly doesnt need 5 WRs in this class. Too many talented targets in all other positions to take 5!!

Yeah that's what he was saying. Can't really take 5 WR. Also said Ed Paris has worked on his drills and has improved his footwork. Playing corner now looks more of an option than before when he was slotted as a safety.

I still do not know why LSU accepted Upchurch's commitment so early with all of these La receivers and Blacknall

Jimmy what makes you think Brumfield's future is at center?
Thanks

I thought his footwork and hips looked really good in that Dallas Nike video posted last week

Says he's a little short to play guard or tackle plus being short and stubby helps against 3-4 nose tackles that are built like tree stumps.

Thanks

I'd really like taking the three instate WRs plus Blacknail...once he committs i see the others starting to speed up their time tables.

Gonna be interesting to see what happens with guys like upchurch and rhaheed and the numbers games, especially at their respective positions

Upchurch needs to be dropped

Rather have Saeed as the 4th WR

Then have the LA Trio of WR's

Malchi
Speedy
Quinn

Completely off topic, but did anyone else notice that ESPN changed our logo from the cat to just LSU?

Apparently according to him Malachi is basically a smoother faster running copy of Reuben Randle

That might be a stretch, RR was one of the smoothest athletes i've seen in my life. Dude looked like he was jogging when he housed Bama's D in 2010.

I actually think we take 5 WRS: Quinn, Noil, Dupre, Blacknall/Upchurch and Williams.
