Has Fall Out Boy's new album that dropped last Tuesday been discussed on here? I searched and didn't see it.

Anyway, love the new album. They have indeed saved all of rock and roll.

I wish I was trolling. I really enjoy Fall Out Boy. My girlfriend and most of my friends constantly ridicule me for it.

Granted, I know they didn't "save rock and roll," just thought I'd get a discussion. I'm guessing most of the music experts on here hate them too.

Yep, they are picking up Nickleback's slack.

I saw them during SXSW and they were great. Not a band I listen to all the time but I like some of their stuff and I thought their live show was really good.

Was really big into them in high school when they came out. Still not bad music but just not my style anymore.

I had been wondering when a discussion would start.

I've been a FOB fan since about 05, Take This To Your Grave and From Under the Cork Tree are two of my favorite albums. I enjoyed Infinity on High but Folie Deux never piqued me interest.

That said, I did not like it at all at first. However, it's really grown on me. I've probably listened all the way through about 4 or 5 times now and it's great. This new style is great. It borders on a little too electronic or my taste at times, but they have some real good jams on there.

I agree. I didn't like it as much as their earlier albums initially but it really grew on me after a few listens.

To make my girlfriend listen to the album I got her in the car on the way back from dinner and then just drove around in circles in my apartment complex for two songs.

Have you ever listened to anything other than the radio songs? Or have you ever seen them live? Because they're very good live.

Serious question. Most people who "hated" FOB when they were first big didn't really even listen to them or give them a chance IMO. They're very good song writers and have a ton of jams.

I'm assuming you just don't like that genre if thats the case.

Loved Folie a Deux. Seriously.

Listened to the new one once and liked it enough that I will give it another spin
