Yes, I know it was a not-so-great, oddly filtered, wheat beer. It was decently refreshing, though. And an okay summertime offering.

Now, all they have is this off-tasting "Lemon Wheat"? What the hell?

Yes, they replaced it with the Lemon Wheat.

Which is horrific.

Is it better than the last thing they called wheat? I am a huge fan of wheat beers but never liked Abita's version.

At least they stopped completely filtering it, but why add that lemon? It's as if everything they do, has to have some sort of gimmick now.

Slow down their buddy, you don't want your comments to be taken completely out of context and then brought up 3 years later on a random FB photo.

I'll say it, Lemon Wheat is not a good beer. It's not the worst beer ever, or even the worst Abita beer, but it's not good at all.

Knew I was going to hate it so tried a friends and it sucked. But it was exactly what I thought it was going to taste like.

I'll say it, I'm struggling to think of an Abita beer worse than this one. Jockamo is a bad IPA, but I can choke one down. This Lemon Wheat is just undrinkable.

I was definitely thinking Jockamo.

Abita Light is pretty bad too.

For a light beer it isn't that bad, just don't compare it to heavy beer.

Jockamo is a sad attempt at an IPA.

Is the Lemon Wheat a Lager just like their old Wheat beer? I don't know why Abita feels the need to make most things lagers when most of the beer styles they make would lend themselves to a good ale. Of course what do I know, I'm not selling a million gallons of beer every year.

I really like their regular wheat beet, so I was excited to see they were coming out with lemon wheat figuring it would be a refreshing light beer. I bought a sixer last Sunday, and after tasting the first one I promptly gave the rest to a friend. It was beyond disgusting.

It uses Biere De Garde yeast, so no, it's an ale. I guess supposed to be farmhouse-styled to some degree?
