Vandy lost to a nothing team at home this week and then went to UGA and dropped one game to the worse team in the SEC.
LSU lost an extra innings game to Alabama in Tuscaloosa after beating them in the first two games of the week.
LSU has a better overall record than Vandy.
Not sure anyone would have voted Vandy ahead of LSU after this week.

Losing the first two games of a home series sucks.
Winning the third game in extra innnings and having a Omaha-like dog pile is just sad.
However, it reminded us that LSU is the best team Alabama will face this year and they felt that they defeated a monster. Makes me feel good that they had a chance to celebrate like that. Mississippi State did the same thing earlier this year when they beat us on Sunday. (Minus the dogpile)

Yeah, I, for some reason, am on that Arky lofty ranking bandwagon. I think they are better than their overall record and their terrible mid-week performance. Similarly, Ole Miss gets swept by Memphis in the midweek and continues to sweep SEC competition.
