You're the GM. What would you rather.

Jacksonville calls you when you are on the clock at 15. They offer you their 2nd round pick (33), 3rd round (64), and next year's 2nd rounder for the 15th pick.

Buffalo also calls you and offers you their 2nd round pick (41) and next years 1st rounder for 15.

BUT

Jarvis Jones, Mingo, and somehow Lane Johnson are all still on the board.

Eta: 3rd for jax added

Do you take one of these trades. Or go with LJ?

(wouldn't happen but I'm curious as to what people's thoughts on how important the LT spot is, or how badly we want to get a defensive playmaker in the first round)

Jacksonville is likely to suck again so that would be a high 2nd round pick. Buffalo is a toss up, but it would be a first rounder giving us 2 in 2014 for the moment.

I know it's hypothetical, but LJ makes it too crazy.

Ha I know that's why I had to throw him in there. The other 2 sure you could pass if you were getting a 1st or 2nd rder next year. But with Johnson in the mix that's a pretty serious decision to consider.

In that case I'll go against the grain and say...

Option A: Mingo. Call me a homer. Don't care. I think he has all the tools to be a monster 34 OLB once he figures the position out. Plus, you can't teach speed.

Option B: Take the Buffalo deal and hope Jamie Collins falls to us in the 2nd. Collins plus a secondary player or OT in the 3rd could be a solid deal. A really solid deal if the Kracken deal went through. Especially with the possibility of a top 10 next year.

No. The Saints need a 1st rounder this year. The 2nd rounder this year should come as well if someone wants to move up. Anyway, if Jones is there, I want that to be who the Saints take.

If Buffalo included their first and we sent them the 3rd then yes...Like it was noted Buffalo may very well be the worst team in the league next year...however, I think they know that as well and will play for the future.

Why the hell would anyone even consider trading 15 for two second rounders and not get a first round pick in return?

I swear the trade scenarios being offered up on here get worse by the day

Johnson

I would consider buffalo though. Could possibly get a guy from South Carolina next year.

Not Johnson. Take Jones or Mingo.

I don't know if Jacksonville will be the worst team next year. Jacksonville, Jets and Oakland will probably have a worse record IMO.

At this point St. Aug, I want us to take Mingo just to watch your meltdown.

ETA:

St. Aug., You can't look at this picture above and still think Mingo is too small, can you? (That's Pat Swilling and Vaughn Johnson in the middle)
