When he's healthy he's at least twice as tough as any of the Packers so that's 2 1st, but we'll balance out his injury problems which leaves them with an empty tough slot 1/3 of the time so I'll settle for a 1st and a 3rd.

If they don't budge or no one else offers higher than even a 5th, I would just keep him. Our RBs never seem to last a whole season.

I wouldn't call that a weasel offer. That's the offer you should expect for a marginal RB. Like ivory.

Honestly don't think we get better than a 4th. I don't understand why some people think we should get a 2nd.

I'm not expecting 2nd by any means. But I don't think a 4th is an out of this world expectation. I would absolutely not just take a 6th. Might as well just give him away at that point.

Ivory is worth more than a 6th. I wouldn't call him marginal. He is a good RB, Saints just don't run the ball. Ivory is also way more proven than any 6th rounder you'll draft.

I think a 5th is best they'll get and they should take it. A 4th would be awesome for the Saints though.

Any way they use Ivory to swap first round picks with the Jets. Ivory + #15 for #9 or #13?
